Object-oriented and frame-based programming in CommonORBIT
نویسنده
چکیده
Objects are representations of entities in a domain which is modeled in a computer. Each object encapsulates the knowledge relevant to one abstract concept or physical object in the real world. This knowledge may consist of data but also of procedures which are applicable to the object. Using the metaphor of a society of communicating entities, these procedures are activated by sending messages to objects. In an applicative view of object-oriented programming, however, procedures are called as generic functions rather than by sending messages. Object-oriented languages allow knowledge to be shared between several objects by a mechanism called inheritance. The object-oriented language which is discussed below is CommonORBIT, an extension to Common LISP. It is an easy but powerful language, which offers a representation based on structured objects but is also inspired by frame-based systems.

Declarative Semantics in Object-Oriented Software Development - A Taxonomy and Survey
One of the modern paradigms to develop an application is object oriented analysis and design. In this paradigm, there are several objects and each object plays some specific roles in applications. In an application, we must distinguish between procedural semantics and declarative semantics for their implementation in a specific programming language. For the procedural semantics, we can write a ...
متن کاملModelsaz: An Object-Oriented Computer-Aided Modeling Environment
Modeling and simulation of processing plants are widely used in industry. Construction of a mathematical model for a plant is a time-consuming and error-prone task. In light of extensive advancements in computer science (both hardware and software), computers are becoming a necessary instrument in industrial activities. Many software tools for modeling, simulation and optimization of proces...
متن کاملObjects Identification in Object-Oriented Software Development - A Taxonomy and Survey on Techniques
Analysis and design of object oriented is onemodern paradigms for developing a system. In this paradigm, there are several objects and each object plays some specific roles. Identifying objects (and classes) is one of the most important steps in the object-oriented paradigm. This paper makes a literature review over techniques to identify objects and then presents six taxonomies for them. The f...
متن کاملVisual Tracking using Learning Histogram of Oriented Gradients by SVM on Mobile Robot
The intelligence of a mobile robot is highly dependent on its vision. The main objective of an intelligent mobile robot is in its ability to the online image processing, object detection, and especially visual tracking which is a complex task in stochastic environments. Tracking algorithms suffer from sequence challenges such as illumination variation, occlusion, and background clutter, so an a...

Flood zonation mapping is one of the priorities for the soil and water management, which Remote Sensing (RS) capabilities are very applicable to this issue. The main objective of this research was study of accuracy of the Object oriented and Pixel based methods for flood zonation mapping in the Taleghan River basin. Therefore, the Sentinel 2A satellite image of the study area classified using s...
